Northeast Florida Geographic Information Systems

(NEFGIS) User Group

The Northeast Florida GIS User Group is a collection of GIS professionals from both public and private sectors within a seven county area (Baker, Clay, Duval, Flagler, Nassau, Putnam, and St. Johns counties). We meet quarterly to enhance our knowledge and skills, to share ideas and data, and to coordinate GIS activities.

Group members expose others to solutions for common problems, make project presentations, share experiences, provide mentoring to new members and increase awareness concerning GIS.  Participation in this group yields a variety of GIS resources that would be difficult for individual GIS professionals to collect on their own.

Anyone who uses GIS professionally, or just wants to learn more about GIS, is encouraged to participate in our group.  We do not collect membership fees, and only require a desire to become part of this growing community.
