From Nothing to Enterprise: GIS and Asset Management
The demand for higher education has shown a rapid development in the growth of university campuses across the nation. Meeting student needs, managing new facilities, parks, utilities, and more have fallen to the responsibility of universities with limited budgets and faculty. To optimally serve themselves, universities can manage its assets by combining the task tailored functionalities of GIS (Esri) and operations management systems (Cartegraph), to reduce maintenance costs, streamline workflows, and expedite request resolution. The presentation will highlight ETM Geospatial Technologies Solutions team’s theoretical implementation of Cartegraph on the University of North Florida Campus.
