Navy Installation Geospatial Information and Services
Join us as we hear from Monica Murray from DSA. Navy Installation Geospatial Information and Services (IGI&S) is required to provide GIS support to Navy Installations and environment to support military readiness regarding facilities, utilities, housing, base operations, real property management, cultural and natural resources, military ranges, and other installation support areas. The GeoReadiness Centers are regional Navy IGI&S teams that provide regional and installation level GIS support to Navy Installation, including data sustainment, map production, and training.
Data Systems Analytics, Inc. is an employee owned company that has provided DoD support since 1963. DSA was awarded the Southeast GeoReadiness Contract in September of 2023. This contract provides support to the GRC with on site contractors. With offices in Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Maryland DSA is ready and willing to support various DoD efforts where applicable.

Important Parking Instructions

* Parking is located in front of the Hicks Hall Building
* Attendees may park in Lot 53 (avoid spaces marked RESERVED and FACULTY/STAFF).
* The event code and the license plate number must be entered immediately upon parking to avoid being cited by parking enforcement.
* Codes can be entered at the kiosk near the building or through the free mobile phone app - Flowbird.
* Avoid parking in spaces marked "Reserved" or "Faculty Staff"
* Guests needing to park in a disability parking space must also enter the code through either a kiosk or the Flowbird application.
* All vehicles will need to park "nose in" to a space so that the license plate is visible.
* All vehicles will need to park within the marked space lines and large vehicles should avoid parking on ramps.
